Lalbag Jame Mosque

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Lalbag Jame Mosjid complex interior design, exterior facade showcases a harmonious combination of intricate geometric patterns, elegant calligraphy. Space acts as both the distributing element of the main living spaces and circulation but also as a principal element of the environmental control of the mosque. Through this element, the air circulation can be drawn through the mosque and extracted from openings in the roof light. The buildings are clustered around several landscaped courtyards and connected through a series of vaulted walkways and arcades as well as supporting facilities. For this project we designed landscaped gardens. This layout creates the effect of continuous views onto landscaped areas and the feeling that each of the main living spaces is a sort of pavilion in a green environment but linked to the other spaces through walkways which are also part of this interaction with the gardens. This concept is relevant not only in terms of its visual context but also in terms of the environmental quality that it presents. The mosque is very permeable and can be easily ventilated by opening up whole walls to encourage the flow of air something which is crucial in hot and humid climates.

Satani complex Bogura
Mixed-use

Satani complex Bogura

Concept and Design description The concept for this 20-story mixed-use building revolves around creating an "Elevated Urban Oasis" that combines modern urban living with a serene and sustainable environment. The design seeks to provide a harmonious blend of commercial spaces, residential units, and recreational amenities, all while emphasizing greenery and community engagement. The building's concept takes inspiration from the surrounding urban landscape, aiming to elevate the living experience for its occupants. The design incorporates elements of nature throughout the structure, creating a refreshing and vibrant atmosphere that promotes well-being and a strong connection with the environment. The first three floors of the building are dedicated to a shopping complex, including a community center, restaurants, and a gymnasium. These spaces offer a vibrant and dynamic environment where people can socialize, shop, and engage in recreational activities. The community center provides a gathering space for residents and the surrounding community, fostering a sense of togetherness and inclusivity. The design features two towers connected by a three-story podium that contains additional shops, further enhancing the commercial offerings and providing convenience to the residents and visitors. The joint floors between the podium and towers house common facilities, such as green spaces, relaxation areas, and interactive zones. These shared spaces encourage social interaction, collaboration, and a sense of community among the building's occupants. The residential floors within the towers provide comfortable living spaces with an emphasis on sustainability and green living. Each floor is designed to offer panoramic views of the surrounding cityscape, bringing the outside in and creating a sense of openness. The incorporation of green spaces within the building, such as vertical gardens and rooftop gardens, not only enhances the aesthetics but also promotes a healthier and more eco-friendly lifestyle. The rooftop serves as a recreational hub, featuring swimming pools and interactive spaces. This area provides a serene retreat for residents, allowing them to relax, exercise, and enjoy the panoramic views. Additionally, the inclusion of a helipad caters to the needs of high-profile occupants, providing a convenient and luxurious transportation option. Overall, the concept of the "Elevated Urban Oasis" combines the convenience of urban living with the tranquility of nature. By integrating green spaces, communal areas, and recreational amenities, the building offers a holistic and sustainable living environment. It fosters a sense of community, encourages social interaction, and provides a sanctuary amidst the bustling city, allowing residents to experience a truly elevated and harmonious urban lifestyle.
