Honourable CEO of Innovate Engineering & Development (IED), Engr. Rana Masud, participated in an important roundtable discussion on “Accountability and Transparency in the Public Procurement System,” organized by Samakal.

The discussion brought together experts and key stakeholders to explore ways to strengthen transparency, accountability, and efficiency in Bangladesh’s public procurement system through greater digitalization and automation.

During the discussion, Engr. Rana Masud highlighted the need for greater transparency and accountability, particularly in the selection of consultants. He emphasized the importance of clear evaluation criteria, documented decision-making, and digital processes to reduce delays and minimize opportunities for manipulation in public procurement.
