Job Resposibility●
Analyze structural loads and forces, including dead loads, live loads, wind loads, seismic loads, and temperature effects, to determine structural requirements.
●
Design structural elements, including beams, columns, slabs, walls, foundations, and connections, using principles of structural engineering and materials science.
●
Perform structural calculations and simulations to ensure that designs meet safety, stability, and performance criteria.
●
Ensure that structural designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
●
Stay updated on changes to building codes and standards and incorporate them into structural designs as necessary.
●
Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall building plans and specifications.
●
Provide technical support during the construction phase and Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that construction work conforms to approved structural designs and specifications.
●
Having sound experience in all the updated design software and structural analysis tools, Like; AutoCAD, REVIT, ETABS, TEKLA, STAAD Pro, and etc to create detailed structural drawings, models, and simulations.
●
Thorough knowledge on BOQ.
●
Implement quality assurance measures to verify, Review and approve structural drawings, reports, and specifications prepared by junior engineers, drafters, or external consultants.
●
Maintain accurate and organized records of structural designs, calculations, reports, and correspondence.
●
Prepare technical reports, memos, and presentations summarizing design decisions, analyses, and recommendations for project stakeholders.
●
Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering technologies, materials, and construction methods through continuing education, professional development seminars, and industry conferences.
●
Having sound experience in all the updated design software and structural analysis tools to create detailed structural drawings, models, and simulations.
●
Any other task as and when required.
